A record setting 715 attendees from 30 countries gathered at the luxurious Fairmont Hotel for the 5th annual conference on Feb 1-3, 2011.

DOMAINfest attracts everyone from "domain industry" rock stars to newbies who firmly believe domain names represent a promising, new asset class for their investment portfolios. The rock stars own and/or manage impressive portfolios, some of them exceeding 100,000 domains that generate over $25,000 in PPC revenue per day (!!!).

DOMAINfest Global 2011 also had some exciting guest speakers such as Bob Parsons (CEO of Go Daddy) or Ben Mezrich (author of "Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook").

On the 5-7th of October European edition of DOMAINfest was held in Prague, Czech Republic. Daniel Dryzek (CEO of ddfund.eu) was invited as one of the experts in Power Networking session: European ccTLD and IDN Opportunities.

DOMAINfest is the biggest domain conference. There are two major meetings annually - one in Santa Monica, US and the other one in Europe. DOMAINfest is coming to Europe in June 2011 to Barcelona, Spain.

On the 23-25th of September Spanish domain conference Domaining III was held in Valencia. The meeting was dedicated to domain secondary market in Spain as well as in Europe. Daniel Dryzek (CEO of ddfund.eu) had the opportunity to talk about Polish and European domain market for the second year in a row.

Program of the conference included workshops and presentations. There were also a lot of networking opportunities with Spanish domain community. Dietmar Stefitz, Domaining III organizer, was able to get one of the biggest .com domainers and experts: Michael and David Castello (owners of whisky.com, nashville.com or daycare.com), Tim Schumacher (CEO of Sedo) and Paul Keating (well known domain related issues lawyer).

We recommend meeting in Valencia to anyone interested in domain name secondary market, especially the one in Spain and Europe.
